Territory idle is an incremental game with several idling features, as well as several prestige (reset) mechanics.

From your humble beginnings as a wheat farmer, expand your territory and wealth through combat, abdication, heritage, and mentorship. As your realm grows, discover the secrets of religion and what lies beyond the sea.

Buildings[]

Most buildings have workers that can be bought that linearly increase the output of said building. The cost of workers increases after each purchase by 15%, making the formula for the cost C = B*(1.15)^x where C is cost, B is the initial cost, and x is the number of workers already bought. The time for buying each worker increase by 5% most of the time, making the formula for the time T = S*(1.05)^x where T is the time, S is the initial time, and x is the number of workers already bought, ensuring that the limit of workers that can be bought is brought on by cost.

You start by building the wheat field, forest camp, farm and quarry. When you start collecting stone you get access to temple, school, academy and cathedral. Hiring a hero unlocks training hall, hotel and forge. Once you get access to sea you may build the last building, shipyard.

Religion[]

Once you build a temple, you start collecting Faith, which unlocks rituals. After reaching 1,000,000 Faith, and having chosen a Pantheon, the player can choose a religion for your people to worship. Each religion has its "likes" and "dislikes" providing bonuses and disadvantages respectively. After choosing a religion, you generate a new resource, Holiness. You also gain the ability to hire a servant, unlocking additional bonuses.

Progress[]

You start with 4 tiles and are able to unlock new ones by purchasing or conquering them. By abdicating you soft-reset your game and gain gold based on your income. The abdication button becomes available when you fill out all available tiles with buildings. Empires are a mid game bonus achievable by getting 15 tiles, giving you 1 Empire Point (EP). There are 9 Empires each with their own unique bonuses. Each level requires lower tier bonus before it can be chosen. Sail away is a form of soft-reset/prestige. It starts the game with on a new continent with 4 tiles. You receive fame equal to the number of captured tiles in this run. Once you unlock all empire bonuses you can go to space, giving you 2 mutation points each time.
